Upper Maxilla Model ONLY

This full arch maxilla model includes sinus and nasal cavities if visible in CT scan. May include pterygoid bone if visible in CT scan.

Be sure to capture CT scan of patient to include all desired anatomy.

Model is printed in clear resin but will have a slight blue tint to it.

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS AND NOTES:

  • DOES NOT INCLUDE PLANNING 
  • SOME BONE ANATOMY WITH LOW BONE DENSITY IS NOT PRINT-ABLE
  • SOME BONE ANATOMY MAY NOT BE VISIBLE
  • DEPENDING ON SPECIFIC PATIENT ANATOMY, MODEL COULD BE VERY FRAGILE (SMALL PATIENT, THIN BONE, ETC.)

Requirements:

If additional details such as dentition is requested, please be sure to follow the following protocol:

Partially/fully dentate:

  1. CBCT scan of patient with separated occlusion. Use cotton rolls or similar materials as necessary to prop bite open.
  • High quality resolution of 0.3 voxel or better
  • At least one full arch per scan must be captured. If double arch treatment and the scan volume is small, scan the patient twice with one arch per scan

Fully edentulous:

  1. CBCT scan of patient wearing relined denture featuring radiographic markers at MIP against opposing
  2. CBCT scan of the denture only featuring radiographic markers
  • High quality resolution of 0.3 voxel or better
  • At least one full arch per scan must be captured. If double arch treatment and the scan volume is small, scan the patient twice with one arch per scan
