General record protocol

Most cases can be done with the following protocol. Please contact us for special circumstances.

Scanning parameters
  1. Full field of view
  2. 0.3mm voxel or similar
  3. For CT scans: Patient bite should be propped open. Please stabilize but separate the bite to prevent excessive scan artifacts interferences.
  4. If wearing denture(s), please use dual scan protocol: One scan of patient wearing relined denture with scan markers + a separate scan of the denture(s) by themselves
Impressions/Bite
  1. Full arch intra-oral scans of both arches is preferred. Send STL files during order checkout process.
  2. Bite registration at closed vertical OR at desired vertical position
  3. Please mail-in physical items such as the bite registration and impressions or poured models:
